Nigeria forward, Terem Moffi is expected to be sidelined for around nine months due to a cruciate ligament injury.
The 25-year-old’s French club, OGC confirmed he sustained the injury in training.
Moffi is now expected to undergo surgery this week.
“Injured during training, Terem Moffi (25 years old) underwent additional tests today. These confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

The forward linked up with Nice from another French club, Lorient in January 2023.
He has scored 20 goals in 52 appearances for the Red and Black across all competitions.
