After a decent performance for Liverpool in February, Mo Sallah claims the Player of the Month Award in style.
Although Liverpool won just 2 out of their 6 Fixtures in the tough month of February, Sallah scored 3 goals.
Despite Liverpool’s stuttering form, the Egyptian Star has been relatively consistent. He has won the Player of the Month award 3 consecutive times now during this campaign.
The former Roma winner expressed his excitement in winning the award while speaking to the club website during the award presentation. He also assured that the team will work hard to salvage something from what has been a difficult season.

Sallah said: “It’s a nice feeling to be winning it again,”
“It’s a good feeling and I’m happy about our last results, so hopefully we can just keep winning.
“It’s tough for all of us because of the situation we have been through and our position in the Premier League, but I believe it’s going to be better. In the Champions League, we are doing good.
“I don’t want to just talk about my season because we play as a team, so I’d say it’s a tough season for all of us and we just need to carry on and try to win games.
“I just want to say thank you very much for voting for me. We’re going to give our 100 percent to win the next few games and hopefully, we can do that and do good also in the Champions League.”
After the International break, Sallah and Liverpool will turn their attention to the Emirate Stadium to face Arsenal in the Premier League before locking horns with Real Madrid in the mouth-watering Champions League Quarter Final first Leg.
However, in the meantime, Sallah – who is one of the best African Wingers of all time, will join the Pharaoh squad to face Kenya and Comoros in the AFCON qualifiers.
