Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has been linked with a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) club, FC Cincinnati.
FC Cincinnati and Boavista are already in talks to get the deal done, according to reports.
A move to FC Cincinnati will see Awaziem link up with another Nigerian, Obinna Nwobodo.
The versatile defender was close to leaving Boavista for French club, Nantes last summer but both clubs failed to reach an agreement.
The 27-year-old spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Boavista from another Portuguese club FC Porto.
The move was made permanent the following season.
Awaziem was however loaned out twice to Turkish club Alanyaspor and Croatian outfit Hadjuk Split.
The centre-back made 27 league appearances for Boavista last season.

Not a bad move Cincinnati is playing the best football in America ATM and we also have Nwobodo doing great in that team.
