Mizo Scoops NPFL Player Of The Month
Bayelsa United forward Robert Mizo has won the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month for October.
Mizo was impressive during the month under review.
The striker scored a brace in Bayelsa United’s 2-1 victory against Kwara United on October 29.
The League Bloggers revealed the winners on their X handle.
“Finally! Here’s your #NPFL24 Player of the Month and Coach of the Month winners @bayelsaunited’s Robert Mizo @RemoStarsSC’s Daniel Ogunmodede,” they wrote.
Mizo is currently the top scorer in the NPFL with six goals in the Nigerian top flight.
Bayelsa United are in shaky form at the moment as they are in 19th position with six points after seven games in the division.
Plateau United’s Bernard Mundi won the award for Goal of the Month, while Daniel Ogunmodede got the oach of the month accolade.
