James Milner has demanded Liverpool return to winning ways at Brighton on Saturday after losing their last two games. The Reds have been flying this season, but have been stopped in their tracks somewhat after suffering their first league defeat of the campaign against Manchester City.
An FA Cup exit at Wolves followed on Monday night and now all eyes will be on the Amex Stadium this weekend to see how Jurgen Klopp’s side respond.

A victory will get the Reds back on track and Milner says it is crucial they show what they are made of. “We have to make sure we bounce back and look at where we can get better,” he told reporters. “You’re never going to go a full season without having blips. I think the start of this season we weren’t playing our best but we were getting results. “Back-to-back defeats now, which really isn’t good enough for us, but you have blips in a season. It’s about how you respond. I think you’ve seen the character in the squad in the last few years and the players we have to know we will bounce back.”
