Meanwhile, champions Juventus travel to Rome to take on Lazio and Empoli take on Genoa
There are two huge games in Italy’s Serie A this coming weekend which could potentially go a long way to deciding the outcome of this title race. On the Saturday (26 January) Napoli head to the San Siro to take on AC Milan, while the following day league leaders Juventus visit Lazio. On Monday night, Empoli take on Genoa.

Where should I be investing my money?
First up, that huge clash between Milan and Napoli at the San Siro. The Rossoneri sit fourth in the table and are unbeaten in their last three league outings, and come in at 2.75 to book a place in the top four come the end of the season, thereby qualifying for next season’s edition of the UEFA Champions League.
Napoli, by way of comparison, are the most direct rivals to Juventus’ domestic supremacy over the last few years. They have won their last three games in a row across all competitions and sit second in the table, albeit nine points behind table toppers Juventus.
But it is Napoli who come into this match as the favourites to take the points and cut the lead Juventus have built at the top of the table – temporarily, at least. You can double your money by backing the visitors to win at 2.00 while Milan, despite home advantage, are out at 3.75 to do the same – a draw is priced in the middle at 3.40, according to Oddsshark.
And we are indeed expecting the away side to prevail. A narrow, 2-1 win for Napoli is priced at 8.50, meaning that a US$5 would lead to a US$42.50 pay out, while you could quadruple your money by backing a combo bet of a Napoli win, coupled with both teams to score, at 4.00.
Juventus head to Lazio looking for three more points
The following day, Lazio welcome Juventus to Rome as the champions look to collect another three points on their way to the league title. The Old Lady already have a nine point lead over Napoli and are currently priced at just 1.040 to retain their domestic crown.
Lazio, meanwhile, sit sixth in the standings but are just two points behind Milan in fourth. Without a win in their last two league outings, the club from the capital are priced at 3.50 to finish in the top four come the end of the season.
And it is the defending champions who come into this match as the clear favourites to take all three points back to Turin. You can back Juventus to win at just 1.83 while Lazio, despite home advantage, are out at 4.33 to do the same – a draw is priced in the middle at 3.50.
And this one may well end up honours even. A 1-1 draw comes in at 6.50, meaning that a US$5 bet would lead to a US$32.50 pay out, while you can back a scoring draw at 4.75.
Empoli look to move away from relegation zone against Genoa
And finally, Monday Night Football this week sees Empoli host Genoa looking to move themselves away from the relegation zone. Empoli are without a win in their last five league outings and currently sit just three points above the dreaded relegation zone – they are at 3.25 to fall through the trapdoor into the second division at the end of the season.
Genoa, by way of comparison, are hardly in great form themselves. They sit 14th and are without a win in three league games – they could still easily be sucked into a relegation battle.
And while the betting is tight, it is Empoli who come into this match as the slight favourites to pick up a much needed three points. You can more than double your money by backing the home side to win at 2.37, with Genoa out at 3.00 to do the same – a draw would appear to be the least likely outcome and is priced accordingly at 3.20.
And we are expecting home advantage to be key here. A narrow, 2-1 win for Empoli is priced at 9.50, while you can more than quadruple your money by backing a combo bet of an Empoli win, coupled with both teams to score, at 4.33.
