AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is reportedly set to be the subject of interest from Wolves when the January transfer window opens.
Wolves made a late move for Kessie during the summer window but the two clubs failed to agree terms before the Premier League transfer deadline.
The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest young midfielders in Serie A and it is no surprise he is on Nuno Espirito Santo’s radar.
The fact Milan were willing to entertain talks over the summer suggests that a deal could be struck in January. However, Wolves will have to up their offer.

Milan parted with a fee in the region of 21million euros to sign Kessie from Serie A rivals Atalanta in the summer of 2017.
Reports claim the San Siro outfit will demand around 40million euros for the Ivory Coast international due to his development over the past few seasons.
Kessie has been a regular for the Rossoneri, making 98 appearances across all competitions, and is expected to retain his spot in the starting XI this season.
His ability to score goals from midfield, having hit seven in Serie A last term, appears to have impressed Nuno as he looks to add further depth to his squad in the hope of competing on multiple fronts.
Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker have been the preferred options for Nuno so far in 2019-20, while Romain Saiss and Morgan Gibbs-White have also been involved.
But it’s understood Wolves are likely to face competition for Kessie’s signature, with a host of clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, also keeping tabs on his situation.
