Mikel Merino equaled Pierre-Emerck Aubameyang’s Arsenal Premier League feat thanks to his double.
Merino came on in Arsenal’s game against Leicester and bagged the two goals.
He headed home Ethan Nwaneri’s cross before tapping home Leandro Trossard’s cross.
The former Sociedad star is the first Arsenal substitute to score two goals in a Premier League away game since Aubameyang against Fulham in October 2018.
It’s the first time he has ever scored a brace in the top five European leagues.
The win means Arsenal are in second place but four points behind leaders Liverpool.
