Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur says he is looking forward to the opportunity of taking the club to Wembley again. The Eagles face the short trip north to take on Watford in the FA Cup quarter-finals, with both teams one game away from a showpiece event at Wembley.
The 31-year-old McArthur has been a stalwart of the FA Cup in recent seasons, winning the trophy with Wigan in 2013 after a spectacular late success against Manchester City, while he assisted Palace in reaching the final in 2016 before they were beaten by Manchester United.

And McArthur says he wants to make up for that loss to the Red Devils in the final and help Roy Hodgson’s men beat Watford to get to Wembley. “I have been lucky enough to be in three semi-finals, so it would be amazing to have the opportunity to get back to Wembley again, go one further this time with Palace and try and win,” he said.
“But we know Watford will be thinking the exact same thing. We know it is a tough game for us. They’ve got results against us this year, so we need to try and put that right by winning and getting to the semi-finals.”
