Kylian Mbappe is expected to make his debut for Real Madrid in their upcoming UEFA Super Cup clash with Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta following a meeting with the club’s doctors.
The 25-year-old French star was officially unveiled by Madrid on Tuesday, having signed a lucrative five-year deal with the Spanish giants after his contract expired with Paris Saint-Germain.
At his press conference, the France captain suggested he’d like to play in the Super Cup match if available.

At the recent European Championship in Germany, Mbappe suffered a painful nose injury that forced him to wear a mask for a number of matches, leading to some fears that his Real Madrid debut could be delayed should he need an operation.
Mbappe to make debut against Atalanta
Spanish outlet AS details how Mbappe had a meeting with Real Madrid doctors recently which confirmed that an operation on his nose won’t be necessary, allowing him to make his debut in the Super Cup clash with Atalanta.
Atalanta qualified for the match after winning the Europa League, having beaten Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen in the final thanks to a hat-trick by Lookman.
