Australia wrapped up a Twenty20 series win over India as Glenn Maxwell finished 113 not out in Bangalore.
Leading the two-match series 1-0, Australia were set 191 to win after Virat Kohli made an impressive 72 off just 38 balls, as India posted 190-4 in their 20 overs.
However, Maxwell went a step further, smashing nines sixes and seven fours, to wrap up the win with two balls to spare.
Australia looked to be in trouble on 22-2 as India took a quick couple of wickets in the opening four overs, but all-rounder Maxwell saved the day with his 113 coming off just 55 balls.
Maxwell, who top-scored with 56 in the first match of the series, was ably supported by opener D’Arcy Short, who hit 40, while Peter Handscomb finished 20 not out.
The two teams will now switch format and contest a five-match one-day international series, which begins in Hyderabad on Saturday.
