Martins will always score goals everywhere!
Martins is the greatest Injustice of Nigeria football. His quality is such that I wonder how we don’t invite him when he is fit.
I’m so glad to hear this. Having Martins with the current Nigerian team would be a huge advantage for Oga Rohr if he knows.
The manager has been trying to have the both of young and experienced players to formed a solid team for Nigeria and Martins presence on the pitch and putting Nigerian jersey on again would be a great accomplishment for the gaffer.
We all knew that indispensable quality of Obafemi Martins is undeniable.
Mr. Rohr should keep Martins under his watch. He should be monitoring him from now on and if he, Martins is fully fit and inform, Martins deserves a spot in that team.
15 to 20 minutes of actions wouldn’t be a bad idea for Obagaol.
Oga Rohr have to options to choose from. We have “Martins and Ighalo”. These two strikers are the most experienced attackers we have and the manager shouldn’t hesitate to have one of the two strikers in the Super Eagles for the next Afcon and the World cup tournaments.
I think this is the best way to build a team. Jo Bonfrere did that and he succeeded at the Under23 Olympics Championship in Atlanta 1996 that Nigeria eventually won.
Martins himself confirmed it that he’s still available for the Super Eagles when fully fit. So Oga Rohr, the choice is yours, I have said my own. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
I think he should also bring back Yakubu and Agali LMAO!!! Whatever you’re inhaling must be prime time. The same Ighalo you detested with passion that Rohr should take with him after the WorldCup in Russia is the one you’re now worshipping. Ẹgbami Omo9ja don kill me with laughter.
I swear….I was surprised to see him say Ighalo should be brought back into the team…I dont think anyone hated Ighalo as much as this boy. Hypocrisy of the highest level
Ahhhahhh….Is this the same Omo9ja or another one?? Whatever you’re smoking please drop it for your health sake. What is this guy saying now? Same Ighalo you called all sought of names should be brought back now – coming from you?? Martins after how many years, the guy has even left the National team set up now for how many years…God knows! Should be brought back to bench Oshimen, Dessers, Simy, Nacho, Sadiq, Dennis, Maja??? Like something is doing you aswr
You see the haters of the Super Eagles now Nigerians?
Hmm. Only the wise ones would understand what I said above. Quote of the day, “Quick to read something but do not quick to judge or make a quick final decision on what you read”.
No need to waste my time on you people to expaciate what I meant because, the message should be clearer and understandable to you coach Rohr fans. Do I have to wasted
my time and energy on this no more? Absolutely no no. Instead, read the comment I wrote above again and digest it until it more clearer to you Oga Rohr fans.
I’m not talking because Ighalo is currently playing for Man United but I’m talking about experience and options that the gaffer have presently. So therefore, don’t get it twisted.
Let me educate you here a little bit Mr. Rohr fans.
Many of you were very young or wasn’t burned when Rodger Milla of Cameroon came from retirement and joined the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the “age of 42” in Italian 90 world cup.
Egyptian goalie is another player, “Essam El Hadary” came from his retirement, and made it to the world cup in Russia and he even manned the post at their last match in Russia and he became the oldest goalie @45 in the history of the world world cup.
The others in the top six are all goalkeepers: Northern Ireland’s Pat Jennings, England’s Peter Shilton and Italy’s Dino Zoff, the 1982 World Cup winning captain.
However, let me come to your level because many of you wasn’t alive then coach Rohr fans. Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude.
Didier Drogba quit Chelsea May 22, 2012 and returned for the second time in 2014 at 36-year-old. You guys didn’t say anything then. So, if Martins is fully fit I repeat, if Martins is fully fit, he deserves a spot in the Super Eagles.
Did you guys know that Akpeyi have bn with the team for a while without a tangible reason? Did you guys complain? So, why Martins then?
This is why I said NFF should hired an expert to compliments Oga Rohr’s efforts.
If you are still in doubt whether Obagoal should returns or not, what was the impacts of our young strikers and goalies under coach Rohr and Agu?
An old Obafemi Martins is better than Ighalo and other young strikers in the Super Eagles but as I said above, the manager have “two options” to make, Obafemi Martins and Odion Ighalo. Oh well. Point of correction, I didn’t hate Ighalo.
Odion has never been the kind of striker that Nigerians can reply on but his presence on the bench alone and his experience is good for the young strikers. I do not hates anybody. I love Ighalo and Oga Rohr so much
but when it comes to Nigerian football, let’s put sentiments apart and face the reality of the game.
Oga Rohr needed the services of Ramon Azeez, Ejaria and Kelechi Nwakali very badly in the Super Eagles. These are the three playmakers that will complements his strikers efforts. I think a word should be enough for the wise now. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
Issokay we have hear you. We will even call back Emenike and Oboabona as well as Taye Taiwo, or maybe Oshaniwa since he is now homebased. Nonsense. You for kuku tell us to call back Kanu and Okocha and Finidi
Like I said if Yakubu and Agali are fully fit, I repeat if Yakubu and Agali are fully fit they should be recalled back to the SuperEagles. Milla was 38 at Italia 90 not 42. Don’t worry an old Obafemi will come back and bench Osimhen, Dessers, Iheanacho, Simy, Sadiq and co. In fact I think Kanu Nwankwo will also be a valuable addition to the SuperEagles attack. Lmao!!! Ovuleria abeg come listen to your Husband oo! Lololololololol!!!
Don’t mind him..Milla was called back for USA 94 @42.leave the history metusela alone. He was there when Uruguay won in 1930
Anyway I think it’s too late to recall Martin’s from China when we have about 5 active strikers to choose from. Nevertheless I think late keshi frustrated many of our stars during his days with the eagles. Rohr is not to be blame for this. Keshi dropped Martins for no reasonable reason a striker who had 19 goals for his national team in 6 years. He might have bitten yekini’s goal record if he was given the respect he deserved by inviting him to 2013 afcon and 2014 world cup and there after. But you and I know that keshi unjustfully disregard these set of stars Martin’s, utaka, and osaze odemwingie, taiye taiwo. Kalu uche. Haba keshi really felt like a tiny god during his days. And it was so dictating. Many of the players he paraded failed at the end. Yobo have to come in for obuobona, Osaze for ideye. Imagine Martin’s for half fit victor moses. Taiwo and kalu and utaka for some players who had no business in the eagles according to Amokachi.
Bro your comments these days get as e be ooh.
When we are clamoring for a player we should also mention who should be dropped for the one we wanted, it doesn’t make sense asking for all the players doing well to be invited, as if we are to use 50 players per game.
I will like to see your list of 23 players you think will do Nigeria proud and if possible mention your first eleven.
I know you are a progressive like me but that doesn’t make us perfect.
@Omo9ja …. Yes I agree with you that a good and balanced team need both young and experienced players to form a Solid team But then it’s the duty of the coach to choose the players that suits his pattern and style of game .
Nevertheless the new super eagles should be an interesting team with the addition of the new players and other players in Superb form . I guess we should all wait until football resume ( Nationally ) before making any remarks
God bless Nigeria
Thats if his egunje will be enough to get him into the team, You know the chinese currency is not what the scout is seeking now, Maybe he needs to find a club with better currency
Hohahahahaha…what a comment….LMAO. Egunje did not get him into Keshi’s team…..Egunje did not get him into Oliseh’s team….Egunje did not get him into Siasia’s team…..It is Rohr’s team egunje will get him into after almost 10 years of last being in the SE…….LMAO. Osimhen and co must be paying big big egunje to be in the SE today….LMAO
@Ade … Kindly mention one player that bribe his way into Rohr’s team
We should stop making false claim while expressing our views on this forum because of other readers and members
Akpeyi might not be your choice of goalkeeper BUT you can’t deny that his record at club level is undisputed .
The New Nigerian national team is based on current Form and Football generally is also based on current form both at Club or National Level .
If you feel any player(s) bribed his way into the national team , Kindly list their names
Your views and others might not be the same BUT then life give everyone a choice to learn from each-other .
God Bless Nigeria
We can’t know that now until the gaffer leaves his job. Isn’t that how it works? Everyone is now coming out that Keshi, siasia, Oliseh all took bribes with no proof yet. So since assumption is now a norm on this platform, i then can assume that the likes of Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ezenwa, Onuachu, ogu bribed there way into the team.
Even the likes of Osimhem, Iwobi, Kalu, Aribo, Ndidi, Simon, Chukweze, Balogun, Aina…infact all the current players paid egunje to have their ways into the team, because there are players who are FAR BETTER than all of them (like Omo9ja’s agege and ajegunle players) whom the gaffer has refused to call up to the team. Cant you see all the world-class players in Europe whom Rohr has refused to call up since the last 4 years instead of the low quality “riff-raffs” in the team now…? Martins must have been so poor not to be able to afford the required egunje to make the team over the last decade under all the managers that has handled the SE…..LMAO
Plz do we have more than one Omo9ja in this forum? The one that writes well and the one that does not observe the concord of English ?
@Empire, Yes. One is a Scout while the other one is an Adviser
Laughing out loud madly!!!!! Hahaahhaaaa
Milla 42 @ Italia ’90???! How old him come be for US ’94?!!!
@Omo9ja has become some sort of Baba Suwe on this space. I am laughing so much so my little boy is asking me what is so funny…
Honestly, this forum needs a kind of of get-together to put a face to every name/member
CS should put a moniker on this forum to allow us atleast to see our faces.. Lol… I will like to see omo9ja face, only God knows how he will look like. Well I guess he will be carbon copy of Obj and Oshiomole.. Lolzz
Hahaha..! Funny that!
@Ola..even Taribo west
@ omozoo, I think u really need to go for a brain check bcs it’s getting clearer with each passing day that your mental state is deteriorating. Recalling martins back, chai. You need to travel to the village to go and find out what is actually wrong with you.
