Gabriel Martinelli was the hero as his late goal secured Arsenal a dramatic 1-0 win against champions Manchester City at the Emirates in Sunday’s Premier League game.
The last time Arsenal defeated City in the Premier League was 21 December, 2015.
Going into Sunday’s clash City had won their last 12 Premier League games against the North London club.
It is Arsenal’s first Premier League win against Pep Guardiola.

Also it is Arsenal’s first clean sheet against Guardiola’s City in the Premier League.
After a goalless first half Martinelli, who came on in the 46th minute, opened the scoring as his strike came off Nathan Ake before wrong footing Ederson.
The win took the Gunners to second position on 20 points, same points as leaders Tottenham.
Both Arsenal and Spurs are still unbeaten after eight games played.
For City, they are third on 18 points and have now suffered their second defeat in the league this season.
