Arsenal forward, Gabriel Martinelli has disclosed that he’s completely happy playing for the Gunners and has no plan to join any La Liga team.
Martinelli insists he’s happy at Arsenal, where he’s played his way into Tite’s Brazil squad this week.
He told AS: “I know the importance and size of the Spanish league, which has great teams in world football, but today I can only think of Arsenal and the Premier League, and the goals we have to meet here in England.
“A club of the stature and importance of Arsenal always has to play to win the Premier League. But we know that there are other great teams, and that this is a challenge for us.”
On his choice of wearing the No35 shirt, Martinelli explained: “When I arrived at Arsenal, they didn’t have many shirt options available.
“So they offered me 35 and I accepted it. I think it was luck, it fit me well and today I am very happy with it.”
