Ighalo missed the wonderful opportunity of being one of the richest players. China is a not good place for football. But then again, he ought to have known that the Manchester United’s coach didn’t have full-confidence in him.
Ighalo is facing the ripple effect from choosing Money over, an illustrious Career. If you are not aware before Ighalo left for China, Manchester United wanted to sign him at the same time Shanghai Shenhua approached him but as all Nigerian players a few years back I.e. Obafemi Martins (Chose China over a move to Arsene Wenger managed Arsenal) Ighalo Chose China and this was at a prime age of 27. remeber Drogba was 27 when he moved to Chelsea. SO Ighalo is Ighalo’s enemy. Had he moved to United back in 2017 we may have been talking od Ighalo as a Man U legend. I hope all future Nigerian players use Ighalo’s story as a yard stick in decisions they make in their careers
