Liverpool players and staff experienced another shock after their heavy defeat to Manchester City in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
After losing 4-1, Jurgen Klopp’s team was starting to leave the Etihad Stadium when their bus was hit by what is thought to have been a brick.
None of the Reds’ players were hurt during the incident in a Manchester neighborhood, but one of the bus’s glass windows was broken when it hit the ground.
Anfield officials will review the on-board CCTV footage and are in contact with both City and the Greater Manchester Police, who have both openly denounced the act.
