Manchester United have cooled their interest in Nigerian forward,Emmanuel Dennis, and The Red Devils are now targetting other options as Premier League rivals, Arsenal and Wolves battle Inter and Leverkusen for the Club Brugge forward.
According to Caught Offside, The Gunners are one of the frontrunners to sign the £36 million rated forward who had an impressive 2019/2020 season with Brugge and is now wanted by a host of clubs across Europe.
He was involved in 11 goals in 33 games last term. His impressive displays have made him one of the most valuable players in Belgium.
The Gunners are joined by Wolves, Inter Milan, Leeds United and RB Leipzig in the hunt for his signature.
Bayer Leverkusen may also join the list if they lose wonderkid Kai Havertz to Chelsea.
According to Caught Offside, Arsenal are hoping to sign Dennis to provide competition for current forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Currently aged just 22, Dennis would be a player that Mikel Arteta could build around for the future. Aubameyang is now 31 while Lacazette is 29, which means the Gunners will have to start looking at long-term solutions soon.
Another reason why Dennis is attractive to the North London club is his ability to play anywhere across the front line. This season he’s been used on both wings, just behind the striker and as a lone striker.
Leeds United are interested in signing the Nigerian as they prepare for a return for the Premier League. He would be used to support Patrick Bamford up front. The Yorkshire side are also linked with Liverpool duo Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster.
Wolves may move for the player if they lose Raul Jimenez this summer. The Mexican has become one of the top strikers in the Premier League after scoring 17 goals during the most recent campaign.

From 20million pounds to 36million pounds, well done CSN!
Dr.Drey, here we are again.Yes I know you have neither condemned nor underrated this guy,but you are just taken abake that a little Nigerian playing in a little club in a little league could be this widely publicized. Like I said to you if he’s not that good the hype will die as soon as it began.
Day after day the hype is increasing, that goes to show that you have to begin to look at him in a different light so as to to be acquitted with the reality.Again as I said before he did not play as a front man all season. And even though, without conceding that he played in that possition all season the suitors might not just be looking at his goal ratio, but the amount of chances created by him. Emmanuel, is very direct, a player who has the ability to open up defence anytime.I saw again his match against Man United,I was captivated not just by the goal he scored but the fact that he was a menace all through the match.
Again, only time will tell. But I strongly trust that satari paribus, this guy will be a huge bang.
… If Kai Havertz could cost 100 million Euros… a normal player who to me will even struggle in the premiership, how then can even 36 millio euros be too much for Emmanuel Dennis?
Hahahahha…a player in Germany scores 18 goals and 9 assist in all competitions as an attacking midfielder and you say he will struggle in EPL…..LMAO. It is Dennis from Belgium who scored 9 goals and 2 assists as a forward in all competitions in the same season that will take EPL by storm…Lolz. Please tell us how many players you know who moved from Germany to EPL and couldnt cope…Lolz
You are really an eagle-eye objective fellow
…Marko Marin, Phillip Schurle,Jerome Boateng and Ilkay Gundogan!
Schurle, Boateng, Gundogan struggled in EPL…??? LMAO. Except when injured they were all super regulars for their clubs and didnt leave without winning something.
And for every Marko Marin that has struggled I will list atleast 15 who were successes crossing from the bundesliga to EPL….from Ballack, to Lehman, Matersacker, Podolski, Kompany, Dzeko, leroy sane, to de bruyne, Son, Firmino, Aubameyang, Xhaka, Mhkitaryan, Soyuncu, Leno….etc. As a matter of fact, any player who can be a hit in the bundesliga can walk into any other league baring injuries.
Hahaha…..Audio Interests….LMAO
My brother, I’m not taken aback that a “..little Nigerian playing in a little club is widely publicized…” heck Osimhen just got signed for 80m from a township club like lille to become the record African transfer of all time…so why would I be taken aback buy a player of less value and output.
EPL clubs interested in a player who doesnt qualify for work permit yet is more laughable than this media hype itself…LMAO….and at what cost…40m…LMAO..??? The report even said Arsenal wants to build their team around him for the future…..which future…??? LMAO. The next major tournament for the SE is in 2022, so how and where will Dennis get enough competitive matches (60%) to earn a workpermit to be able to play in the EPL for arsenal to build their team around him…LMAO.
Pls read this piece: https://sportinglife.ng/leeds-offer-25m-for-ben-white/
That is how clubs go for players they want…not internet interests. Since January, We’ve been hearing of close to 10 clubs (with names changing every week) allegedly fighting for Megastar Dennis….pls tell us which one of them has submitted 1 bid…Lolz
That chap should better channel his focus both mentally and physically on this new season with Brugge. We know that he is a decent player…but all these PR media advertising will not do him much good.
Like I’ve always said on his issue….we will finally believe all these clubs are truly chasing him the day he is unveiled by one of them. LMAO
@DR Drey, who said Dennis is not qualified for England work permit?, they two criterias used for England work permit, one, percentage of matches played, two, Amount you were bought. If Dennis cost any club in England 15 million pounds and above, he is qualified automatically!. But if he cost lesser than 15 million pounds then he has to go on loan until he played a certain percentage of Nigeria matches. So for Dennis to cost above 15 million pounds, he is super qualified to play in English Premier league!.
Of course I am aware of the exceptional talent route…but that in itself is a long shot.
I doubt if a GBP15m transfer is within the 50th and 75th percentile of all Premier League transfers in the 2019 transfer season (2 points). Clus spent like crazy last season
His wages too will need to be in excess of GBP 100,000 to fall within the 50th and 75th percentile of the top 30 earners at each Premier League club in this past season (2 points)
He also does not play in what is classified as “the top leagues” (1 point)
The only point he has going for him currently is that his team played in the last UCL (1 point)
He needs at least 4 points and above to get the work permit via the exceptional talent rule.
It will take a miracle of humongous proportions to get that across the line. And facing current realities (the covid 19 impacted markets and all that) It will take a STRIKINGLY RICH CLUB with huge financial base like Madrid, Barca, etc to shell out $40m and pay above $100,000 per week on a player who scored 5 goals and 1 assist in Belgian league and 9 goals 2 assists in all competitions last season….even if he were a winger. Such club should go and rather sign a sadiq umar who scored 17 goals and made 17 assists as a forward.
Of course it will be the joy of every Nigerian to see these guys playing in the biggest clubs possible, but hey…..does if have to be with so much media hype but without substance….purported interests yet no bids…not even one that was rejected….Na so transfer market dey work….??
Dr Drey, I can’t thank you enough for your analysis of this issue. You’ve done justice to the issue.
All we hear in the news is interest from clubs but no concrete offers on the table.
Of course we love Dennis and we wish him well, but until one of these clubs table an offer, every news about interests will be seen as a PR stunt.
Unfortunately performance parameters and not PR stunts is what gets good players into big leagues and big clubs.
Dennis should keep working at it, cuz he’s got what it takes.
Cs we are tired of this news.
We don’t value and confidence with what we have
