Michael Malone says there will be no let-up from his Denver Nuggets side as they look to finish top of the pile in the Northwest Division. Denver (31-14) currently top the Northwest standings and go to Salt Lake City to take on Utah Jazz on Thursday in good shape.
Malone’s side have recorded 10 wins from their past 13 games and easily overcame Chicago Bulls 135-105 and Cleveland Cavaliers 124-102 most recently.
Malone says everything is geared up to maintain standards and then improve as they hope to enjoy a successful season, with the Nuggets only behind NBA champions Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.
He told the Denver Post: “The No.1 goal that we have is to find a way to get better every single day. And we feel if we do that, then that’ll take care of everything else. “And we talk about winning our division. Right now, we’re 6-0 in our division.”
The Jazz, who lost narrowly to Portland Trail Blazers 109-104 last time out, are 26-22 and sit in fourth place in the Northwest Division.
