Mainz manager Achim Beielorzer says Taiwo Awoniyi is back on his feet again after he suffered a concussion in Sunday’s home clash against Augsburg, reports Completesports.com.
The striker was stretchered off and taken to hospital following a nasty fall early in the game.
Play was delayed for about five minutes following the incident.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Nigerian-born Austrian international Karim Onisiwo.
“Taiwo is conscious and responsive. He has suffered a severe concussion but can remember everything,”Beierlorzer told a news conference.
Awoniyi has featured in 12 league games for Mainz this season and scored once.
