Real Madrid are reportedly keen on securing a deal for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, with the player unhappy at his current club.
Los Blancos sensationally reappointed former boss Zinedine Zidane on Monday following the sacking of Santiago Solari due to poor form in both La Liga and the Champions League.
Reports suggest Zidane only agreed to return to the Bernabeu after gaining assurances from club president Florentino Perez that money would be released to overhaul the squad. Zidane’s plans seem to be already underway after the club reportedly contacted Icardi’s agent and wife, Wanda Nara, about a potential switch to Madrid in the summer.
