Roma striker Romelu Lukaku has disclosed that he has deep relationship with Jose Mourinho due to his closeness his children.
The Belgian international stated this in an interview with TribalFootball, where he said that he has complete trust on the Portuguse tactician.
“As I’ve said in the past, he and I have a special relationship. He knows me and my children.
“He’s someone I can trust, and he puts his trust in me. He’s tough, but that’s the only way that I can grow.”
Lukaku, who netted a brace in the Roma’s victory over Cagliari, said that he’s always ready to prove his worth on the pitch.

“I’m a professional.
“I worked during the summer. There was a lot of talk about me, but I don’t like to talk.
“I prove on the pitch what I can give to a team. Today things went well.”
Interestingly, Lukaku was the first Premier League player to join Jay-Z’s management agency Roc Nation Sports.
In 2018, he signed a record sponsorship deal with German sportswear company Puma, the company’s largest endorsement deal ever.
In 2020, Lukaku honoured George Floyd by kneeling and keeping one fist high in support of Black Lives Matter when he scored in a game with Inter against Sampdoria.
