Arsenal have urged Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis to lower his asking price for Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.
Recall that the Nigerian international has been on the Gunners’ radar since the January transfer window after his release clause was announced.

However, both parties are yet to come to an agreement, as the London club is requesting a lower price in a bid to sign Osimhen.
Despite Arsenal’s admiration for Osimhen, Sky Sports Italy has reported that they are hesitant to proceed with the deal due to the substantial expenses involved.
Napoli is open to selling Osimhen, but club president Aurelio de Laurentiis is adamant on finding a suitor willing to meet the €130m (£110.8m) clause.

If Chelsea can’t buy Osimhen at that price I am not sure Arsenal, with a reputation of not too keen on spending so much on players, will also attempt to buy him.
His time away at AFCON too didn’t help matters reason he scored fewer goals at club this season than last season.
Paseiro’s tactical defensive formation at AFCON too didn’t help matters. He didn’t shine much at AFCON.
My advice? If Napoli won’t reduce price, please he should stay put at Napoli, I am sure he will shine better this season and score more goals under Antonio Conte.
Going to Saudi Arabia at 26 is not a good choice. He should stay put in Europe and fight it through. Serie A is also good.
The mistake he made was allowing Napoli force him to extending his contract.
He would have just decided to wind down his contract and leave as a free agent at the end. This is what Mbappe did at PSG He was blinded by Napoli showed him love and he wanted to repay them.
Nobody will buy a black player that is not a Brazilian or from Europe for 130 pounds !!! Never!!!
He just allowed Napoli to tie down his destiny. H
Osimhen, who joined Napoli from Lille in 2020, signed a new contract in December that earns him a weekly wage of £253,005
I think,he made the right decision because of his wages.
