A late Ademola Lookman’s goal sealed a 2-1 win for Atalanta against AC Milan on Friday night.
Charles De Ketelaere had opened the scoring for Atalanta on 12 minutes but Alvaro Morata equalised for Milan in the 22nd minute.
With just three minutes left in normal time, Lookman popped up to score the winner.
After netting the winning goal, Lookman was then replaced in the 90th minute.
His Super Eagles teammate Samuel Chukwueze was introduced on the stroke of 90 minutes.
The win took Atalanta temporarily to top on the log on 34 points.
The Europa League champions are just two points ahead of second placed Napoli, who can return to the top if they win this weekend.
It is now eight league goals in 12 league appearances for Lookman this season.

For a non striker to be stepping up in big moments like this, this guy gat to bw more talented than osimehn.. I will pick his humble soul anyway anytime over that arrogant dude..
I mean he single handedly won the Europa league for Atlanta with a harttrick…
In the league that season he scored 11 goals…
This season he is already on 8….
But that disrespectful dude as a no 9 scored only 26 goals in the league when Napoli won it…
And then the next season he barely came up with double digits just 15…
And then the season after that Which is now, he has gone into oblivion…
Into a tolotolo league… lmao…which goes to show that his career is a fluke… lmao
@Monkeypot let this matter rest a beg.
That’s the different between a player born abroad and in Nigeria. Once those born in Nigeria get money they get carried away and difficult to control because poverty is the souls is the reason they want to play football. I bet it with way yahoo boys are going now in the next 10 years we may likely rely on foreign born players in the super eagles . For Boniface all he needs to do is spend more time on the game rather than being on instagram showing his over speed limit, the guy lacks discipline.
For Osimehn that guy no be Nigeria by blood I swear he plays like a German, he is a gift to Nigeria with his passion for football.
