Atalanta’s Nigerian star forward Ademola Lookman has been included in the 2023/24 Europa League Team of the Season.
UEFA announced the Team of the Season on their Europa League website on Friday.
The Europa League best 11 was selected by UEFA’s Technical Observer panel.
Lookman bagged a historic hat-trick to help Atalanta defeat Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final on Wednesday.

It was a first-ever European title for Atalanta and also a first major trophy since 1963.
His brilliant performance earned him Man of the Match award and also Europa League Player of the Week accolade.
Other players who were also included are former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Leverkusen duo Granite Xhaka and Jeremie Frimpong.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang’s 10 goals in Marseille’s run to the semi-finals earned him Europa League Player of the Season.
Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz claimed the Young Player of the Season award.
