Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers believes Ademola Lookman will make a big impact at the club, reports Completesports.com.
Lookman, 23, joined the Foxes on a season-long loan from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig on deadline day with a view to a permanent switch.
The talented winger, who found first-team opportunities with the German club limited, spent last season on loan at Fulham.
“I wanted to take him to Celtic when he was at Charlton. I was aware of him when he was 15,”Rodgers told a news conference on Thursday.
“He has all the tools, he has a great dribbling ability, how he views the game, he has an eye for a goal. My hope is that this environment will give him a chance to flourish. Hopefully he can find a home here. I have no doubt the supporters will be excited by him.

“He can play in a number of positions. His preferred position is off the left side but he can play on the inside as well and on the right.
“He’s very balanced. He’s got two good feet. You wouldn’t know which is his strongest foot, he can strike the ball very well off both sides.”
Leicester will host champions Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Asked if Lookman will make his debut, Rodgers said: “I’m excited to work with Ade over the course of the season, he’s going to have an impact. He’s available. He looks fit and strong. If he doesn’t start, he may play some part in the game.
“His contribution will be dependent on the tactic we want to use in the game and we have a number of players who can give us that option.”

That’s not even my problem right now ..my problem is when is this guy going to wear the green and white shirt?people in charge of our football not telling us what we don’t know
You only need to read Lookman’s body movement to know he is such good baller. Language barrier might affected him in Germany. .
NFF President should intensify efforts on the switch of allgiance regarding Ademola and others in order to don green, White and green jersey.
Lookman is better than super eagles. He was born in Europe, playing for super eagles will be a step down. If he wanted to switch and play for the team it would have happened already. Aymeric Laporte of man city was born in France but has Spanish background switched his allegiance to Spain in a day, stop hoping and dreaming. Yall do this all the time, its pathetic
Lookman is determined to play for Nigeria and nothing can change the mind of the young man……The problem is are we going to give him a chance?……We always like to count what we have and neglect what we don’t have……We like to always consider the player that will be benched for his sake…….we always like to consider team chemistry and neglect team rejuvenation and refreshing…….we always like to consider only the starting 11 but forget that football is a squad game in which every player is of equal importance……..We consider past record and neglect present form and pedigree……All this our consideration is what scares me not weather lookman will switch or not because he has come out many times to express his frustration at the slow pace of his switch…….Lookman is done with England and from his body language he is not one of those Yahoo players that want to use Nigeria to get the attention of England.
