Russian top flight club Lokomotiv Moscow and the Nigeria Football Federation have sent birthday greetings to Super Eagles defender Brian Idowu who clocks 28 on Monday, Completesports.com reports.
“Brian Idowu is 28!
“Happy Birthday, Brian!” Lokomotiv Moscow wrote on their verified Twitter handle.
While the NFF wrote: “Happy birthday Brian Idowu.”

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Idowu has a Nigerian father and his mother his half-Russian, half-Nigerian.
He made his Russian Premier League debut for FC Amkar Perm on 6 May 2012 in a game against FC Terek Grozny.
After a loan spell with Dynamo St Petersburg during the 2013–14 season, Idowu signed a new 3-year deal with Amkar on 30 June 2014, extending his contract again in February 2017 until the summer of 2020.
But on 10 July 2018, he signed a three-year contract with Lokomotiv Moscow.
He made his Super Eagles debut against Argentina on 14 November 2017 coming on as a half-time substitute for Ola Aina, and scored Nigeria’s third goal in a 4-2 win.
He made the Eagles squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and featured in all their group games.
