Lobi Stars head coach Mika Lönnström believed his side’s deserved more from Saturday’s encounter against Bendel Insurance.
The Makurdi club lost the encounter played at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City 1-0.
Isaac Annor scored the winning goal for the hosts seven minutes from time.
Lobi Stars created numerous scoring chances in the game, but were let down by their poor finishing.

Lönnström stated that their poor marksmanship contributed to the defeat.
“We played well but failed to convert set pieces into goals. We’ll address these lapses in training,” he noted.
Lobi Stars dropped to 17th position on the table following the defeat.
Daniel Amokachi’s side will face Heartland in their next game.
