Harvey Livett scored twice as Warrington made it two Super League wins from two with a 28-14 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers.
The Wire did not have things all their own way in the first period as Ben Crooks touched down to give the visitors the lead, but Livett’s first score saw the Wolves claim a 6-4 advantage.
Craig Hall then scored to hand Rovers the lead once more but it was 12-8 to Warrington at the interval after Tom Lineham’s try.
Jimmy Keinhorst’s four-pointer and Josh Drinkwater’s conversion were all that the Yorkshire outfit had to show for their efforts in the second period as Warrington pulled clear.
Livett bagged his second on 53 minutes before Josh Charnley ran the length of the field to take advantage of an interception.
Mike Cooper’s late score was the icing on the cake for the Wolves who sit proudly at the top of the table.
