In a bid to foster creativity among students, international sports statistics provider Livescores.biz has launched a scholarship campaign centred around the best motivational essay every year, and Nigerian students have especially been invited to participate.

At the close of 2023, Livescores.biz will grant a $700 scholarship to the author of the most impactful essay. Not only does each student participant have the chance to see their work published on the Livescores.biz website as an inspiration tool, but the selection for publication will be curated by the Livescores management. The winning essay will then be determined through a vote by the website’s administrators.

To vie for this scholarship opportunity:
- Write a 500-1000 word essay on the topic “How Sport Changed My Life.”
- Email a Word doc or PDF attachment of your essay to [email protected].
- Use the subject line: Livescores Scholarship 2023.
- Ensure the file name includes your full name, university, and date of birth (e.g., John-South-EdoUniversity-12-17-1978.docx).
- Submit your essay by December 30th, 2023.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Author a unique essay.
- Be a college/university student in Nigeria.
- Have no familial relations with anyone at Livescores.
- Acknowledge the right of Livescores to verify high school graduation and/or college enrollment dates.
By submitting an essay, participants agree to let Livescores use their words for publication, with due credit given, in various media, including blogs, websites, and related platforms.
