Liverpool unbeaten run in the EPL broken by Manchester city.
QUESTION OF THE DAY ???-
DESPITE THERE FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON TO MANCHESTER CITY IN THE EPL, DO YOU THINK LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE LEAGUE???
WHAT IS YOUR VIEW!
Meanwhile on the other story Liverpool ’s boss Jurgen Klopp says he would have “paid money” to be in the position his side are in after two games against Manchester City.
The Liverpool remain four points clear at the top of the Premier League table despite suffering their first league defeat of the season against Pep Guardiola’s side in a 2-1 loss at the Etihad Stadium.
Leroy Sane bagged the winner in a thrilling contest, which saw Roberto Firmino cancel out Sergio Aguero’s opener in the first half.
Having missed out on the chance to go 10 points clear at the top of the table, Klopp still can’t believe the position his side find themselves in at this stage of the season. “I have so much faith in my players, you can’t imagine,” he said.
“If someone had told me after both games after Man City we were four points up, I would have paid money for it, you cannot believe. It is something not possible.”
Liverpool are next in Premier League action on January 12 when they make the trip to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton.

absolutely yes they are still in pole position i think this will serve as a wake up call. believe me……..
Absolutely!!! I know oga Mumini Alao is a kopite too like me and must be really excited that this season we’re definitely not walking alone. Pep deployed all the dirtiest tactics in the game yesterday to win by hook or crook, but no wahala, England will be Red come May. City still have many of the big 6 to play, we just have Spurs I think to play. The rest 16 matches are middle or lower level clubs. YNWA!!!
liverpool will never win this league
They don’t have the bench to sustain the momentum. An injury to one of Salah, Mane or Van Dijk would certainly destabilize their run.
