Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that he has no plans to leave the Reds for Germany.
The German will not become the new manager of his country’s national team in the coming weeks.
Having sacked Hansi Flick, the Germans are on the lookout for a long-term replacement.
However, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke this evening told Sportschau: “Jurgen has a long-term contract with LFC and is not available for the national coaching position.”
Klopp has previously spoken about his desire to coach Germany, but also was realistic.
He admitted that leaving his club side, in this case Liverpool, when the job becomes available would not be possible.
