Liverpool recovered from an early setback to defeat Leicester City 3-1 in Thursday’s Premier League game at Anfield.
The win means Liverpool, who are on 42 points, go seven points clear of second-placed Chelsea on the log.
For Leicester, they have now lost their last three games and drop into the relegation spot in 18th on 14 points.
Jordan Ayew gave Leicester the lead in the 6th minute but one minute into first half stoppage time Cody Gakpo equalised for Liverpool.
On 49 minutes Curtis Jones put Liverpool 2-1 ahead before Mohamed Salah sealed the three points by scoring on 82 minutes.
