Completesports.com’s Live Blogging of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Group G match between the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Оrlovi (Eagles) of Serbia at Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah.
What’s Cameroon doing in this World Cup, these guys are playing to lose this game. How did they qualified, hayattou must be investigated. No sense urgency, no soccer direction, playing like soccer like zombies.
Well done to Cameroon for getting their goal in the first half. They need to maintain their concentration and stay the course. Three valuable points from this encounter will boost their rather slim hopes of making it to the second round.
This isn’t any loss of concentration….. Serbia frankly has been the better team in this match and they looked like they been playing for a long team and has perfect understanding of each other
One thing I have noticed about all the African teams in this wc except Morocco is that we don’t know how win the SECOND AND THIRD BALLS alas HOW TO PRESS exploiting empty spaces
Cameroon why now pls, u can win this match, Serbia have one of the worst team in this tournament, pls make sub Sahara africa proud. Cameroon Cameroon Cameroon. Pls remove Anguissa now the guy has collected money. It seems these clowns are on a mission to disgrace africa again, just as they did the last time.
We’ve three teams representing Sub Sahara Africa, Cameroon is out those guys are not serious, this team is not motivated, no coach no leaders they’re out Brazil will spell Cameroon. Ghana and Senegal would make us proud. Ghana coach must not make another costly mistakes today ooo.
Something is going on with Cameroon! They are sabotaging the coach or their leadership!! I believe they haven’t been pay their BONUSES and they want to punish their fa!! Is clear as day!! The players are just standing there and intentionally loosing the ball to Serbia
Ghana will crumble to South Korea. It will be a bloodbath. I am preparing myself for another wild celebration. This time, I will not be extending an invitation to Selfmade, Yaw or the other guy.
If any of them should turn up, my bouncers will deal with them ruthlessly.
A continent whose God isn’t the lord wldnt prosper
See how we treat ourselves in Africa with corrupt leadership, wickedness and how we even treat the citizenry! We Africans can be wicked sometimes and is hard for God to bless a wicked nation
I know it’s hard for these African teams but God can’t blessed a wicked continent with corrupt leadership and selfishness
Hehehehe….Cameroon will win this world cup according to Samuel Etoo. LMAOoo
That dude must have smoked the leftovers of what Mr Odegbami smoked when he hallucinated about Joseph Yobo leading the SE to Qatar.
Pls what are Rigobert Song’s coaching credentials, that people are expecting Cameroon to deliver anything serious in this world cup.
Yes, it is good to have exinternationals as coaches, but do you just shove exinternationals unto the biggest job in the land just because they wear the garb of being exinternationals…?
Walid Regragui of Morrocco has been coaching in the Morrocan and Qatari leagues for close to a decade already. He has already won the Moroccan and Qatari league titles, Cup titles and even a continental title as big as the CAF champions league. Ditto Algeria’s Djamel Belmadi before he was name Algeria’s coach. Aliou Cisse may not have had as much managerial success at club level as two, but he has made up for it with years of informal tutelage across different grades of Senegalese football before being named National team head coach backed up with a retinue of over half a dozen white assistants….little wonder success is only coming much longer compared to the rest. Not to talk of the fact that these guys are as French/European as any French/ European having either been born or raised in France and spent all of their professional careers and football tutelage in Europe.
I’ve monitored Cameroon’s matches since Song was appointed coach and its been like a horror film compared to the way they played under their immediate past Portuguese coach. Song has been in charge for 9 matches thus far….2 wins 3 draws 4 losses. Cameroon is a good as being knocked out of this WC already. I know football isnt mathematics, but if you cant beat Switzerland and Serbia, is it Brazil you want to beat.
Its really disheartening seeing the same African players we see lighting up European leagues every weekend, standing toe to toe with their European counterparts converge in their national teams and play crap directionless football especially at the world cup just because they receive crude, crap outdated coaching from the so-called “local coaches”.
Lets stop lying to ourselves, hiring incompetent locals all in the name of “ex-internationals must rule” or “let us fail with our own” is only going to set our football backwards. If the CVs of our so-called ex-this and ex-that arent good enough to compete in the labour market…..what really is the point employing them…? What points are we trying to prove…??
Just heard Rigobert Song quarreled with Andre Onana and sent him out of the Camp simply because the boy does not want to be a 1990 styled goal keeper who cannot play the ball with his feet.
These “ex-internationals and their Egos”
Like Song like Oliseh.
I hope Cameroon is not about to lose Onana they way we lost Enyeama at his peak….???
