French Ligue 1 club, Lille have celebrated their Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen following his man-of-the-match showing on international duty for his country, Completesports.com reports.
Osimhen was in breathtaking form as he bagged a brace and recorded two assists in Nigeria’s 4-2 away win against the Crocodiles of Lesotho – a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group L match, at the Setsoto Stadium, Maseru on Sunday.
The 20-year-old was also on target in the Super Eagles 2-1 home win against neighbours Benin Republic on Wednesday last week.
He has now scored four goals in four consecutive recent appearances for the three-time African champions.
