Lille manager Bruno Genesio says Chuba Akpom still has a lot to learn despite his impressive start to life at the club.
Akpom linked up with the Ligue 1 giants on loan from Eredivisie club Ajax last month.
The Nigerian scored on his maiden league appearance for Les Dogues against Le Havre at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday.

The 29-year-old reduced the deficit for the hosts deep into stoppage time.
Genesio stated that the goal will boost the forward’s morale.
“Scoring is always a good sign for a striker. Chuba was opportunistic in this action. He is a player who still has to find his feet with us,” he told the club’s official website.
“He still has to assimilate certain principles and what is asked of him here. It is good that he scored, it can only increase his confidence and bring us something extra for the end of the season.”
