Despite suffering home loss against 10-man Toulouse Moses Simon and his Nantes teammates will play in Ligue 1 next season after escaping relegation, Completesports.com reports.
Nantes lost 1-0 to Toulouse in Sunday’s second-leg promotion play-off but survived the drop on the away goals rule after winning the first-leg 2-1.
After a goalless first half Toulouse broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute through Vakoun Bayo.

With three minutes left Toulouse’s hopes of getting the winning goal were dashed after Nathan N’Goumou was sent off.
The result means Toulouse will remain in the French second-tier division (Ligue 2).
Simon who was on from the start was replaced in the 83rd minute.

Lucky guy. Congratulations on escaping relegation this season. Hope you guys do better next season.
Simon should move to a bigger club…his level is higher than Nantes… Nigerian players don’t like challenge… They avoid competition that is why you hardly see them in top clubs… They prefer to play in Belarus and be getting their regular national team call ups…If it continues like this then we should forget about ever reaching the quarter finals of a senior men’s world cup…period
Which players play in Belarus that are called to national team ?
Talk with fact
That’s exactly the point…. I’m trying to avoid calling names so people won’t say I’m tribalistic or whatever… that’s why I mentioned Belarus knowing fully well that no SE player plays there at the moment….But my message should be clear enough,…We Nigerians are too blind to the truth…we can’t eat our cake and have it,we should know that…. you don’t study but you want to have an A in your exam?… Rhor can’t do magic and he said it before that we don’t have top players but Nigerians attacked him because we hate the truth… Nigerian like to lie to themselves that we can win the world cup… Success starts with been sincere and honest with yourself… Thank God we are seen some SE players in relatively strong European teams now (osimhen chukwueze Iwobi kelechi ndidi)but we need more…. Our players should leave turkey Cyprus Russia and div2 leagues let them move to bundesliga Lig1 premier league serieA Laliga and fight for shirt…. people playing there don’t have two heads
So they should force themselves on clubs?? Or Nigerian players are the only players available for clubs. What club do you play for AKP?
