Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen bagged an assist as Lille recorded their first away win in the French Ligue 1 this season following a hard fought 1-0 victory against Olympic Lyon at the Groupama Stadium on Tuesday night, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen set up Jonathan Ikone for the only goal of the game in the 68th minute .
The Nigeria international has now scored eight goals and provided three assists in 15 league appearances for Les Dogues.
The 20-year-old featured for the entire duration of the game.
Lille now occupy fourth position in the Ligue 1 table with 25 points from 16 games.
Christophe Galtier’s men will host Brest in their next league game on Friday.

Yes but you forgot to mention Josh Maja of Bordeaux he scored a hartrick yesterday…..
I almost made the same comment, like Maja isn’t a Nigerian. A player who scored a hat trick in a Ligue 1 match didn’t deserve a place in your report on Nigeria players performance in France. CSN should strive to always balance things up. Last Nigerian to score a hat trick in was Osaze and that was over 8 years ago.
