Super Eagles defender Gabriel Osho was missing in action as Monaco defeated Auxerre 4-2 in Saturday’s Ligue 1 game.
The Nigerian international has made 13 appearances and netted one goal for Auxerre this ongoing season.
It was Monaco who took the lead through Thilo Kehrer, who blasted home from inside a crowded box

That lead lasted all of three minutes with Sinaly Diomandé blasting home a sumptuous outside-of-the-box effort from just outside the box. From thereon, Auxerre looked the more dangerous side in the first half and they were rewarded deep in injury time.
Monaco levelled before the hour mark with Mika Biereth calmly slotting home a Zakaria through ball.
Within just eight minutes, the Norwegian forward went on to settle the game. He first volleyed home from close range and then finished off what Breel Embolo started, tapping in from close range for his third and Monaco’s fourth.

Osho is a fantastic defender. I see him starting at the central back position.
Thank God you’re not the coach. This inconsistent player is what you’re clamouring for, do you really watch football??? The headline is not even giving you a clue.
Lol. Osho is a regular starter at the club. Except when he’s injured. He’s a fantastic, technical striker. In his last two games for SE, he distinguished himself. With more maturity, I see him displacing either Semi at the CB position. It won’t be easy sha.
This Osho will have to prove himself in the national team. Club football is different from national team soccer.
What makes him inconsistent? Have you ever taken your time to know he’s not playing regularly in his French club . This guy is playing regularly unless he’s injured which can happen to any player. Presently Osho is one of the few defenders we have playing regularly for his club, however, playing for national team is a different game . I don’t know if he’s good to be trusted at our backline ?
