FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi is doubtful for Saturday’s Primeira Liga clash against Gil Vicente.
Sanusi was substituted at half time during Porto’s UEFA Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donestk on Tuesday night.
The Nigeria international failed to train with his teammates on Thursday as they started preparation for the game against Gil Vicente.

“FC Porto returned to work this Thursday at the PortoGaia Sports Training and Training Center, in Olival, where it continues to prepare for the game with Gil Vicente on Saturday, at Estádio do Dragão, in the sixth round of the championship,” the club said in a statement on Thursday,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
“The Porto clinical report includes the names Iván Marcano (treatment), Zaidu (treatment), Gabriel Veron (treatment), Danny Namaso (treatment) and Evanilson (treatment).”
Sanusi has made two league appearances for the Dragons this season.
Sergio Conceicao side currently occupy third position with 13 points from five matches.
