Victor Boniface, Nathan Tella and their Bayer Leverkusen teammates are just one win away from landing a first-ever Bundesliga title for the club.
Leverkusen continued their push for the title with a 1-0 win at Union Berlin on Saturday.
Tella, was in the starting 11 and was replaced on 79 minutes, while Boniface came on in the 67th minute for his first league appearance since returning from injury.
Florian Wirtz goal from the penalty spot deep into first half stoppage time earned Leverkusen the win.
Leverkusen’s title rival Bayern Munich surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 at Heidenheim.

Bayern’s defeat means Leverkusen need to beat Werder Bremen next weekend to become German league champions for the first time.
Meanwhile in midweek, Leverkusen will host West Ham in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.
Also, the club will take on Kaiserslautern in the German Cup final in May.
