AC Milan director Leonardo is reportedly closing in on a return to former club Paris Saint-Germain.
Leonardo arrived at Milan last summer as part of a new-look board that Elliott Management put together and he brokered the deals for a whole host of players.
Gonzalo Higuain, Mattia Caldara, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Samu Castillejo, Diego Laxalt, Lucas Paqueta and Krzysztof Piatek all joined under Lenoardo’s watch over the course of the season.
However, with the Rossoneri failing to qualify for the Champions League this term, the 49-year-old’s position is said to have weakened significantly and he looks set to leave the Italian outfit.

It is now being claimed the ex-Brazil international will be heading back to former employers PSG, where he held the director of football position from 2011 to 2013.
The core players that Leonardo first worked with at the Parc des Princes, which include Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Marco Verratti and Edinson Cavani, are still at the French champions and a reunion looks to be on the cards.
