Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca has said Wilfred Ndidi will miss the trip to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday due to injury.
Ndidi was not in Leicester’s squad for Tuesday’s away game against Sunderland as a result of a tightness in his muscle.
Speaking after the game against Sunderland, Maresca said Ndidi was rested and should be back for Saturday’s game against QPR.
But in his presser on Friday he said that Ndidi’s injury is more serious than first thought, and he will miss out on this weekend’s game.
“It’s a bit more than tightness, he is out this weekend. It could be a few days, it’s a muscle problem, but it is not a big thing,” Maresca was quoted on BBC Sport Leicester X.
