Leicester City retain an interest in Lille striker Victor Osimhen but fear he could be tempted by a move to Italy.
Osimhen has attracted interest from Brendan Rodgers’ scouts as well as Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton this season.
However, cash-conscious Lille are demanding around £60million for the 21-year-old Nigeria international while he also has strong interest from Italian sides Juventus and Inter Milan with the latter fearing they will lose Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona.

I think Leicester will be a fine move for Oshimhen.
Do you follow EPL football at all or you only watch the matches. Please know there is football politics ok
You are a class and no longer a leceister class. The world is at your feet, don’t be scared to join world class club. Good luck bro
God will bless you, I been wondering why we keep producing average players cos the are afraid to either play or compete in a bigger club or league. Bunch of average players in super eagle
HMMM. Learn from Ahmed Musa. Stay put and shine at Lille.
Nah not Leicester. Osi is truly world class. Please don’t go. Aim higher. I believe Carry was not as good at Osimehn’s age both for country & club. Hence, why go & understudy Vardy until he is totally unable to replicate his recent form? While Osi misses regular playing time as a starter as he is in Lille.
Let us not forget we already have talented kelechi in Leicester who can’t pin a regular place and is usually a sub but has been receiving some starting roles before the season was suspended abruptly due to Covid-19
I will advice Osimehn to stay in Lille until he can win the league or do really well in champions league.
He could also stay there to continue regular first team football while horning his skills.he could use the world cup go showcase his worth and declare himself one of the best strikers in mirdan day football. We can see how the USA ’94 team became global stars after their exploits.
Regardless, Osi’s hardwork, humility, fearlessness, prayerfulness & hunger will take him where only Kings sit & legends abide.

So fun won
Hello Osimhen,
If you cant be guaranteed first choice central striker and not just regular playing time as wing striker, then no need to go.
You cant be anybody’s understudy at this level of your development. You just need games to enhance your confidence in front of goal and your market value.
Leicester plays with lone striker flanked by two wide players. Since Vardy is still there , he will always be the first choice. So dont go now maybe in 3 years time When Vardy bows out and if the clubs Still matches your ambition then u can then move.
Hmmm. Osimhen i believe will score goals anywhere in the world. However, Vardy is currently being worshipped in LFC as an english player, and any striker that joins them now would have to be play under his shadow until he can’t lift his legs any longer. Seriously, i see you becoming the next drogba, and you can win games by yourself in your days. The 18 goals so far this season are not true representation of your hardwork this season as i have seen in most of your matches. I will be waiting to see you score your 30+/season in more organised teams. The top awaits you young man!
Osimenh should go to big club now you are inform and age on your side, fear is bad
God will bless you , the best comment so far
Anyone wishing Oshimen to move to Leicester now is either A Football Novice or an enemy of progress for the Starlet!
What I want for our players (Oshimen for example now) is a Trophy winning club not under-acheiving club. Oshimen has been able to hit the back of the net 18 times this season despite poor Midfield and bad team composure of Lille. Now imagine he’s in a Club like Juve, PSG, Liverpool, Chelsea?? Am sure that will be 30+ goals for him.
So any move Oshimen should make now from Lille should be a Club willing to make him there first choice Striker and guarantee him playing time.
A move to Juve is not bad! They don’t have a Center Forward impressing badly as Higuain is on/off and also Aging. Also, Imagine playing with the Legendary RONALDO…That will be a Dream-come-true move for me. I personally will love Juventus to snatch Oshimen up if the links are true. He has every possibility of coming to the limelight there. Moves to Chelsea and Liverpool is not bad as well. But please say No to Clubs like Arsenal, Leicester, Inter and even Real for now. Maybe they will be good options later but not now
God will also bless you ooo, bigger team for him I support let kill the average player mentality
Please v. Osimhen don’t go, the will do to you what the did to Musa and the will use you to limit iheanacho Football growth then finally the will be using you to substitute for iheanacho. Go to a bigger club I beg of you oo.
Osimhen shouldn’t even think about a Leicester City move. It’s time for his career to take a giant leap by moving to a bigger club.He can only turn out a better player for it.
You are world class and should be playing for a world class club.
Enough of Nigerian players churning out for lower clubs, abeg. Fear factor shouldn’t come to play here,as usual for most Nigerian players.
It’s high time Nigerian players started winning back the AFOTY after a long interregnum. I see this present golden generation smashing all kinds of glass ceiling.
