Leicester City and Olympic Marseille are battling to sign Ajax striker, Chuba Akpom, reports Completesports.com.
Ajax have made the former PAOK player available on loan this month, according De Telegraaf.
Sky Bet Championship club Sunderland made an attempt to sign Akpom earlier in the window but he rejected their offer.
Leicester City and Marseille are expected to firm up their interest in the striker before the end of the month.
The 29-year-old has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with Ajax.
Akpom moved to the former European champions in 2023 after a prolific season with Middlesbrough.
He has scored eight goals in 31 appearances for the Dutch giants this season.
