Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing midfielder Nadiem Amiri from Hoffenheim. The Foxes are thought to be looking for cover for James Maddison and Youri Tielemans in midfield and have turned to the Germany Under-21 international as a potential answer.
Amiri made only a handful of appearances for Hoffenheim last season but showed potential when on the field and Leicester are fighting to get him. His price tag is also tempting as he has a release clause in his current deal allowing him to leave for just 14million euros, though that clause is set to expire at the end of July.
Bayer Leverkusen have also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, who helped Germany win the European Under-21 Championship in 2017 and also finish runners up this summer.
