Leicester City have announced plans to play Stoke City and Rotherham United in simultaneous pre-season friendlies on Saturday July 27. The Foxes are set to play the Potters and the Millers in the lead-up to the new Premier League season, which begins on August 10, with the first-team squad likely to be split up evenly for the two away matches.

Boss Brendan Rodgers will also give an opportunity to the club’s promising youngsters and make use of several members of the development squad for the games at the New York Stadium and the Bet365 Stadium, with both matches set to take place at 3pm, a fortnight before the new campaign gets under way for real.
Further pre-season plans will be announced in due course as Rodgers and his backroom team continue to plan for 2019-20 and look to build on an impressive end to this season, which saw Leicester finish in ninth place.
