Spanish La Liga side, CD Leganes, have finally unveiled Nigerian youth international, Success Makanjuola who actually completed his transfer to the club way back in August, Completesports.com reports.
Leganes unveiled the midfielder on Thursday. He has now linked up with compatriots, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque.
The young midfielder also had interest from some other European clubs before he considered the advise of his manager and opted to sign for CD Leganes.
A certain Spanish football agent Oscar Rodriguez brokered Makanjuola’s Leganes deal in conjunction with a London-based Nigerian agent Fidelis Chime with the consent of the player’s manager, Nureni Makanjuola.
Makanjuola played for Nigeria at the 12th All Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco and was also an important player for the Paul Aigbogun’s Flying Eagles squad at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland

Leganes is becoming Nigeria player’s home. Just like back in the days of keshi, when Belgium league was Nigeria’s player home. Good luck boys.
nice move..so long he’s assured playing time for his development
Good prospect. Few of those that showed prospect among the Sambisa guys. Makanjuola, Igho Ogbu, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Okon. I hope they all blosom career wise and get to the Super Eagles team. They have what it takes
Well,I might be wrong but I tell you,I didnt see any good player paraded by Paul in that under 20 world cup. They were basically average players. It got a stage, I was wondering if those players were nigerians.Even when we are not playing well in a match, you will see those raw skills and exacting movements in Nigerian players. But it was conspicuously missing in these players. However I sincerely wish him all the best at his new club.
