Newly appointed Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly looking to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalga on a one-year loan.
According to La Repubblica, Lazio want to strike a deal that would see them pay 50 per cent of Kepa’s wages.
The Spanish keeper clashed with Sarri when the latter was in charge of Chelsea in the 2019 Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, with the shot-stopper refusing to be substituted despite suffering with cramp.

Sarri wanted to bring on Willy Caballero, but Kepa stayed on, with Chelsea losing on penalties. Kepa was subsequently fined a week’s wages.
Last season Kepa lost his place in the Chelsea side to Edouard Mendy, who joined from Rennes for £22m.
This season Kepa made just seven Premier League appearances, having featured prominently in the two previous campaigns following his £72million switch from Atletico Madrid.
Despite his significant price tag, Kepa’s time at Chelsea has been characterised by some high-profile errors.
Veteran Pepe Reina made 37 appearances, while Lazio also called upon Thomas Strakosha on occasion, but they are aiming to bring in a new goalkeeper.
