Former Nigeria international Garba Lawal has explained why in-form striker Paul Onuachu always struggle when invited to the Super Eagles.
Onuachu is the hottest Nigerian striker in Europe presently after netting 14 goals in the Belgian Jupiler.
He continued his scoring run with a brace in Genk’s 4-2 home win against Royal Antwerp this weekend.
His impressive scoring form means he tops the Belgian top-flight..
But it is a sharp contrast in the colours of the Super Eagles as he has just one goal to his name.
And commenting on Onuachu’s contrasting fortunes Lawal said on Brila FM on Tuesday:” When it comes to playing for the Super Eagles some players need time but as we all know playing for Nigeria they don’t give you time.
“In the case of Onuachu I think he puts a lot of pressure on himself whenever he is invited to the Super Eagles.
“What I will advice him is to try and bring his club form to the Super Eagles.”

Mr Lawal, will he come along with his teammates from Belgium? why can’t our own wingers learn how to cross balls to a striker or lift the ball to a better heights the only problem i figured out in SE setup is a lack of effective and accurate wingers who can read strikers movement and place the pass where it would be hustled in the box via strikers Vs Opponent Defenders,so there no Onuachu would bring in special when our Coaches are not telling the boys how to deliver a lovely pass by example play Videos of what you want them to do and point out those players who is good at such use such players and their Videos as a tools to correct the Error in our National Team okay.
