Jamaal Lascelles is back in full training following his knee injury and is expected to be available after the international break.
Lascelles missed last weekend’s 2-2 draw against Bournemouth with the knee injury he suffered against Everton earlier this month, but he’s made good progress and is set to be fit for the Magpies’ next game – the clash with Arsenal on April 1.
The centre-back trained on Friday fully with those players not on international duty and, barring any more setbacks, should be ready for the trip to the Emirates on Monday week.

Lascelles’ return is timely as Toon boss Rafa Benitez will still be without the suspended Fabian Schar, who serves the final game of his two-game ban, against the Gunners, but Paul Dummett, Federico Fernandez and Ciaran Clark are available.
